Donations from the United States will pass through the Hope for West Africa Foundation (HFWA). HFWA is a 501c3 non-profit which was founded in 2005 by current and former members of the University of Maryland, Baltimore IHV and CIHEB family. HFWA supports locally run Nigerian NGOs in implementing programs that further health and educational opportunities for West Africans who are most in need.
