Teresa Pompa, Director of Communications

Teresa Pompa has worked in Finance and Accounting for Baltimore City government for 20 years. She now is a stay at home mom and has volunteered for numerous service projects. She has been a minister for The Church of Nativity for the past 4 1/2 years. In August 2008 and 2009 she was a missionary for Nativity Nigeria. She served at Faith Alive and was able to visit the Anawim Home. After her visits she became a very passionate advocate for serving the poor and suffering people of these areas. She is very excited to serve on the Board of the HFWA Foundation. She hopes to increase awareness of the plight of those people and share information through her postings to the HFWA Facebook page and blog.

Teresa is a graduate of Towson University. She is married to Anthony Pompa who is a graduate of Loyola College and is the Controller for the city of Washington, D.C. They are the parents of Sophia Pompa 12, who attends St. Joseph's School and Christopher Pompa 13 , who attends Gilman.
