Alison DeMartin, Secretary

Alison worked in a litigation law firm as an associate for 7 years before taking time off to raise her children. During the past 10 years Alison has served on several boards including membership director at Dulaney Swim Club; President of the Parents Association at Good Shepherd Preschool; Parent Representative Church of the Good Shepherd; Corresponding Secretary McDonogh School; Event Coordinator for McDonogh School Patrons' Association. Alison has also been involved with countless other service projects and volunteer opportunities in the community over the past 10 years. Among these was hosting an Advent fundraiser for the HFWA at her home for the past 2 years.

Alison is married to Michael DeMartin, an attorney. They are parents of Joe & Luke DeMartin who attend Mcdonogh School and William DeMartin who attends Odyssey school.

Alison is a gradutate of Loyola University in Maryland and University of Baltimore School of Law. She is looking forward to serving on the HFWA Foundation Board.
